Contractors Helping Kids was founded to make a difference in our community and offer assistance to those in need.

After years of donating to charities that support children across the country, we decided to set up our own! Through our connections within the contracting industry, we ask our subcontractor partners to donate a small percentage of their contracts to CHK to help carry out our mission.

EDUCATION

Education plays a key role in building better futures for children. We aim to provide children with what they need to succeed in school, whether it be school supplies or a hot lunch.

WELLNESS

Whether physical or emotional, health and wellness are crucial to the life of any child. Our team strives to connect children with the help they need to boost their well-being.

EVERYDAY SUPPORT

Many children in our community lack the basic items they need for success. New clothing, shoes, and toys are all small items that can transform the life of a child.

Contractors Helping Kids is building better futures for our children by providing the opportunity for a better life. Our focus is on the individual needs of children, whether on the social, emotional, physical, financial, or educational development.

OUR FOUNDER

KEITH STODDARD

Keith Stoddard started Contractors Helping Kids in January 2020. He had been supporting children through other charities for many years when he came into the opportunity to begin his own. “10 to 12 years ago, I started donating to kid’s organizations, specifically those that supported healthcare and the likes thereof. Children’s hospitals — which are such a great cause and heartfelt organizations. They do great things for families. It was a simple donation once a year... I was not that involved until I had children of my own. That's when it really changed. In 2011, my son was born. It was Christmas time, and I remember distinctly there was a radio station having a fundraiser for children with disabilities . I had stopped by there, and after meeting some of the families and children — especially having children yourself — it makes you so thankful for what you have. So at that point I thought, I need to do more, I can do more and I am going to do more!
